The client, based in Germany, is a leading consulting firm offering advisory, financing, and management services for prominent companies spanning several industries. Operating mainly in Greater Berlin, Frankfurt, and the Allgäu region, the firm offers support for operative restructuring, and assists both in procuring capital and bringing in stakeholders. Additionally, our client assists when taking steps to prevent insolvency proceedings.
The preparation of restructuring reports forms another important aspect of the client’s service offerings. Having established a rapport with relevant credit institutions, our client is often recommended as a stable and dependable restructuring consultant. When necessary, and when restructuring out of court is not possible, the client assists businesses in considering new opportunities provided by insolvency law, self-administration, or insolvency protection proceedings. To ensure smooth sailing in the proceedings mentioned above, the firm takes every step to establish trust and reduce risks.
Requirements for the Research Project
Our team was tasked with the research and listing of 50 Private Equity firms investing in the Food Sector. We were required to focus on the animal husbandry and meat sectors in several countries spanning across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Each of the listed firms would need to invest in SMEs with minimum revenue of €50m.
To populate the list, our researchers needed to find the name, geographical location, contact details, and a succinct profile of each of the firms in question.

- The final list was passed on to the client for approval.
